Steamless Iron

Ever get "dots" on your web that don't stick after pressing onto the material ?

Try using an old fasioned iron that wasn't made for steam. The reason the holes 
happen is because the iron has holes in the plate for steam to escape. Even 
though you arn't using steam, the holes still are there and will not heat that area.

Probably the best place to buy an "old fashioned" steamless iron is at the thrift store.

Also, as suggested by M.E. "The Vermont Country Store" is a great place to 
find steamless irons.  They carry several items that are hard to find in regular stores.
