"WINDMILLS IN MY MIND"
designed by Aveli
The following kits are all in the Windmill Pattern. The Blue and Rose colors are
not available yet.
We have a beautiful lavender floral print available in two sizes and two layouts. More blue, rose
and other colors will be coming up in a few weeks.
The kit includes all materials needed - precut for you. All you need to do is follow
the instructions which are included and sew it together. Also included is the material
for a straight binding and the batting.
These are now available in crib size and twin size.

This is a closeup of the block used in the following kits. This is from
the Dark Rose kit.
Kit "A" alternates the windmill floral fabric with the plain block of the background
fabric.
Kit "B" has all windmill floral fabric blocks with no plain fabric blocks in between.
Each block measures 4 inches square after sewing. It uses the 2 7/8 triangle available
on our website. The quilt has 2 borders. One border measures 4 in wide and the second border measures 2 in.
wide.
The crib size quilt kit measures approximately 35" Wide x 43" Long.
The Twin size kit measures approximately 70" Wide x 88" Long.

with 30's reproduction fabrics from Marcus Bros and Chanteclaire. Fabrics used are described below in individual hexagons.
All fabric is die cut and ready for you to sew. The kit includes: 214 Hexagons
- 3" diameter; Material for one 3" border around quilt; 100% Cotton Batting; Coordinated binding, instructions and 1 roll
of 1/4" Quilters aid Tape.
This quilt can be purchased as seen with mixture of colors or with all one color,
either all pink or all blue, your choice.

This wonderful fabric is from Aunt Grace Kids collection by Judie Rothermel for Marcus Brothers.
It has a background of pink squiggles with boys and girls in various activities, skating, watering flowers, jumping
rope and others. The print includes an occasional dog and a clockface. The children are wearing a combination
of yellow and blue with all accessories also in yellow and blue.

This is a solid blue background with small clover like flowers and stems in white all over.
Fabric is from VIP from Cranston Printworks.

This fabric is from the Aunt Grace Scrapbag collection by Judie Rothermel for Marcus Brothers.
The background is a dark yellow with brown has marks all over. In the middle of the square formed by the hash marks
is a single three pointed white leaf.

This fabric is from the Grannys Eleven collection by Darlene Zimmerman for Chanteclair. The
background is green which has solid white leaves. A grouping of zinnia type flowers with a very small
dark green leaf is scattered on top of the while leaves.

"PASS THE DRESDEN PLATE"
Beautiful Precut Baby Quilt
BY AVELI
This quilt measures approximately 40" x 40" and is made with various fabrics
from various manufacturers. This is made with 8 different fabrics.
The quilt is a combination of piecing and applique.
The picture of the "blades" of the plate is one fourth of the whole plate. The "blades" are sewn together then appliqued
onto an 8 1/2 Inch square of muslin. The circle in the middle is appliqued onto the plate when the 4 parts are sewn together.
The borders measure 2 inches wide each after sewing. The first border has a red leaf appliqued onto a 2 x 4 inch rectangle
of muslin.
This quilt has very colorful "blades" in the "plate". Great for a baby quilt, child or lap quilt. All
fabric is die cut and ready for you to sew.
The kit includes: all precut
"blades", circles for center of "plates", 8 1/2 inch blocks on which to applique blades, material for one 2 1/2" border; 2
1/2 x 4 1/2 muslin rectangles and red leaves to applique on rectangles for second border; 100% Cotton Batting; coordinated
binding, detailed instructions with step by step pictures and 1 roll of 1/4" Quilters aid Tape.
Because of
the curves of the plates and leaves to be appliqued, I would categorize this for an Intermediate applique quilter.
But, since it can be appliqued by machine, an experienced beginning applique quilter can also make this beautiful quilt.
